Dr. Jason Copeland is a fellowship trained Breast surgeon and Breast Surgical oncologist who completed his Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) designated training at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Buffalo, New York, USA. He earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies where he was awarded the prestigious UWI Additional Open Scholarship.

He has established himself in all aspects of breast surgery and specializes in the surgical management of patients with breast cancer. He has gained expertise in oncoplastic breast surgery from the School of Oncoplastic Surgery and the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Currently, he serves as the Clinical Director of the Breast Oncology Service at the Kingston Public hospital, where he also works as a Consultant General Surgeon.

 Dr. Copeland has been recognized by the Leading Physicians of the World and pioneers minimally invasive techniques such as hidden scar nipple sparing mastectomies and sentinel lymph node biopsy techniques. He is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology as well as the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He serves as an associate lecturer at the University of the West Indies, in the department of Surgery, and has contributed significant research in the understanding of breast cancer in Jamaica.

Dr. Copeland practices with dignity and compassion in the care of his patients and he has worked internationally with the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer, the Health Services Authorities of the Turks and Caicos Islands, as well as the Cayman Islands.
