MBBS, DM Consultant Haematologist & Medical Oncologist
Dr Danielle Smellie graduated from the University of the West Indies (UWI) in 2009 with her Bachelor's in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Following this, she entered government service at the Kingston Public Hospital and subsequently returned to the UWI for postgraduate training.
She is currently a consultant in Haematology and Medical Oncology at the Hope Institute of Jamaica and also works in the Breast Oncology Unit at the Kingston Public Hospital.
In addition to managing patients with cancers, Dr Smellie also manages patients with blood disorders like unexplained anaemia. When she is not working, she enjoys reading and going to the beach.
